I understand what you’re trying to say here, that a lot of people who don’t know much about code at all will write random snippets of ugly PHP that gives the rest of the language a bad name. I’ve been writing software for years and take pride in being a “get it done” developer. I honestly think it’s one of the highest compliments that a developer can receive. The issue is more set it and forget it about the ugly code. It’s fine to write disgusting code at first but if your app, startup or company is going to progress you need to keep that “get it done” mentality going, which ultimately requires better code
