One thing I’d like to note is that this analysis only factors in the supply as in number of developer jobs. Every person on FreeCodeCamp and developer who is getting started has read many of these articles and starts with Node.js. Additionally, all of the coding bootcamps believe Javascript to be the future. Even Ruby devs and senior web developers who have been around for years generally know how to write Javascript. There are more quality Javascript developers on the market than quality PHP developers. Job prospects are about both supply and demand.
